Demonstrated some simple techniques to start a painting. Based on traditional methods. The idea is to "key" the scene into one color range first, then "glaze" the local colors into it later.

Demo: Treehouse Interior
Scott's treehouse interior was getting spatially confusing in the background and lacked set decoration. The center table and shelves look flat. |
I simplified the columns but kept complex shapes with more cartoony props and decor. Enlarged windows for more light in the future. Improved foreground silhouettes. |
