Week 10 - Tina Oh

The image below would have to be the final project. Though I didn't get a chance to finish it, this was a mere practice.

This is "Through the Eyes of Esmeralda."

That was a lie.

I ended up not being able to justify a giant, flat wall shape, so I spent the evening pretty much redoing the entire painting from the base color wash up. (Open in new tabs for larger versions.)

Well, this is the last painting, so I decided to have a little fun with it and do something i don't usually do. :)

I wanted to finish the other one too, but I had a lot of other work had to get done.

Jennifer WK9

the tree has separation anxiety

Week 9 - Tina Oh (Court of Miracles)

Rough week from work, but I had some time to do some drawings.

Someone else had already done Notre Dame, so I only did Court of Miracles (Esmeralda's home?). It involves both inspiration films from both Disney and live actions.

Definitely not done with this one yet...still needs a lot of clean up and separation of forms. For his face, I plan to do what Jason did on his cowboy painting, where you paint it really big and scale it down.
